This week-long program is for youth aged 10 to 12 years old.  Daily activities include sea kayaking excursions to neighboring islands, group challenges and games, and exploration of our island ecosystem.  Ripples students have the option to stay overnight in Cow Island yurts on Thursday of the program week. Students develop self-confidence and learn basic leadership skills through building new friendships, interactive games and fun team-building activities.  Every participant is sure to be challenged and engaged whether they are returning or new to Rippleffect. Parents are welcome to join their child for a parent paddle on Thursday of their program week.

Thursday Overnight

Ripples have the option to stay overnight on Cow Island on the Thursday night of their program week.  If this option is selected, Rippleffect will provide Thursday dinner, Friday breakfast, and Friday lunch.  Ripples students will stay in the Cow Island yurts, enjoy fresh meals prepared in our kitchen, and enjoy a campfire and star gazing at night.

Cost: $30

Parent Paddle

Every week we offer our Thursday Parent Paddle for parents of Ripples.
Price: $40.00 per parent (covers cost of ferry ticket and additional guide staff)

Every Thursday, parents and guardians of Aucocisco Ripples are invited to engage in their child’s learning experience. This is an excellent opportunity for students to employ their new skills by teaching their parents the basics of sea kayaking. One parent/guardian per participant may attend. Registration is required and spaces are limited, so sign up in advance!

Please call the Rippleffect office at (207) 791-7870 to sign up for the Parent Day.
