Lorie Eve Dechar, M.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist with practices in New York and Maine. Her intuitive work as an Alchemical Acupuncturist is supported by a strong foundation in practical experience and theoretical understanding, including twenty years in private clinical practice, seven years as a senior faculty member at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City and over ten years of independent teaching at institutes and retreat centers nationwide. Lorie is the author of Five Spirits: Alchemical Acupuncture for Psychological and Spiritual Healing. She holds a Masters Degree in Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Columbia, Maryland, 1985. She has trained in Jungian and Gestalt psychotherapy, is a certified Focusing-oriented psychotherapist, and is an ordained Zen practitioner.

Andrew Shier is a Master Attunement Teacher and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist. Andrew has been a healing practitioner for over 30 years and has also traveled throughout North American and internationally teaching and speaking on health and healing. As a part of his healing discipline he teaches and practices T'ai Chi and Qigong.

Justine Lynch is an Acupuncturist and Dance artist living in Brooklyn NY. Native to NY, Justine started her performing career in the 70's at age 7, performing in lofts and gallery spaces with visual and dance artists. She attended the High School for Performing Arts in New York City 84-88 and received a BFA in Dance from SUNY College at Purchase 1992. Justine worked with the company entitled Dance by Neil Greenberg for fifteen years (see neilgreenberg.com) as well as with many other choreographers, for example Sara Rudner, Paige Martin, Jennifer Monson and Roseanne Spradlin. She has also presented her own work notably at PS 122, NY in 1997, The Performing Garage in 2000 and at Judson Church 2005.
Justine took a hiatus from NY to achieve a Masters degree in Acupuncture 2000-2003 and is a Certified Zero Balancer as of January of 2007. She has taught Five Elements and Dance Workshops entitled "Essential Movement" at The Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Laurel MD and at Dancespace Center in New York City. Justine Lynch has taught Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Empire State College2005 and 2006, Tri State College of Acupuncture 2005 and at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture now located in Gainesville Fl2006 and 2007. Justine studies alchemical acupuncture entitled Rooting Shen with the master practitioners Niki Bilton and Laura Barnard. Justine Lynch is slotted to produce her own work in April of 2008 at Judson Church and in 2009 at The Kitchen, both in NYC. She practices privately in Soho NY.

Tom McCauley is a Licensed Acupuncturist and practitioner of a unique blend of classical Five Element Theory with Chinese herbs. Also living in Brooklyn NY, yet native to Ohio, Tom moved to NY in the 1980's to achieve his Masters Degree in Literature from Columbia University. Turning his attention to the culinary arts, he has been chef and owner of the popular Miracle Grill in New York City since 1997. He received his Masters in Acupuncture in 2006 from The Academy For Five Element Acupuncture in Florida In tandem with these endeavors, Tom is a musician and composer. His compositions have been most widely exposed in choreography performed at the Performing Garage and Judson Church in NY and Galapagos in Brooklyn. He has taught Chinese medicine as an adjunct professor at Empire State College (2007) and assists Lorie Dechar (author of Five Spirits-Alchemical Acupuncture for psychological and spiritual healing) in her year-long master apprenticeships program for acupuncturists. He also studies ongoing Five Element Acupuncture and Rooting Shen with Laura Barnard (located in Rockland Maine). He has a private practice in Williamsburg Brooklyn.

Armand Huet DeGrenier, A. B., Ed. M. , C.A.G.S., C.C.C., NSACT, F-CHSNS is from Canada's east coast Province of Nova Scotia,where he lives and shares a vision called NOVA QUEST with his partner, Susan Morrison, a homeopathic consultant. Armand studied with Michael Harner and Sandra Ingerman (Core Shamanism) and began what has become a 26-year immersion and daily practice of the shamanic path of spirit. Armand has been called the grandfather of contemporary shamanism in the Maritime Provinces and he is a student of the Sakyong Mipham, Rinpoche in the Shambhala-Buddhist tradition of the Warriors of Enlightened Society.

President of the Canadian Federation of Clinical Hypnosis - Atlantic Armand Huet de Grenier, is a Certified Canadian Counsellor, a Master Level member of the Nova Scotia Association of Counselling Therapists and a Fellow of the Clinical Hypnosis Society of Nova Scotia and is the President of the Canadian Federation of Clinical Hypnosis - Atlantic. Prior to emigrating to Canada in 1989, Armand was a founding partner of the New England Center for Holistic Medicine in Newbury Massachusetts, USA, one of the first interdisciplinary integral health care medical practices in New England. He has provided organizational development, training and consulting in Canada (Exxon-Mobil, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Sable, Murphy-Klatt Consulting) as well as in the USA.

Karla Vandenbergh is extensively trained in the Five Petals of the Lotus Healing Art, which includes acupuncture, massage, osteopathy, tui na, herbalism & qigong. Inner alchemy, meditation and martial arts are the essence of her practice and healing art. With an extensive background in the vocal and performing arts, Karla created Thundering Tara, a solo performance meditation based traditional Tibetan chants of Tara and Kuan Yin. Karla also enjoys her work with children as an arts educator in the areas of theater, voice, dance, fine arts, jewelry & fashion design.

Raven Koch's spiritual journey brought her into the healing arts by way of reiki at the age of 15. Since that time, she has taught self-defense classes, provided advocacy and crisis counseling to crime survivors, and recently opened a private practice in the Soho neighborhood of Manhattan. Currently, she's engaged in bringing acupuncture, reiki, tui na, and spiritual counseling services to the masses, and loving every minute of life.

Maggie Bokor is a licensed Nia Instructor currently teaching in the greater Portland area. She has a driving passion to help people find joy in their bodies. Maggie was first introduced to The Nia Technique while living in Maryland in 2003. She was trained a few months later and has been teaching ever since. With a background in fine arts, performance and Reiki, she was initially attracted to Nia's barefoot approach of expressive movement as a way to achieve whole-body wellness. It empowers students and teachers alike to make their own choices and celebrate their divine uniqueness. She moved her family up to Maine in the fall of 2006 to reconnect to her New England roots, return to her life as an artist and share this healing dance. Maggie plays an active in her Maine community, teaching Nia and art, singing and practicing Reiki while embracing her life in the studio.

Benjamin Fox, LMT is a licensed massage therapist practicing in Blue Hill, Maine. He trained at the Scherer Institute of Natural Healing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, 2000, and his work rests on over twenty years of experience in the fields of alternative healing and the administration of holistic medical practice. A passionate student and practitioner of astrology, Benjamin brings his curiosity for the potential in humans to all his endeavors. He is presently working toward the creation 'A New Possibility,' a center for learning and healing in Downeast Maine.

Valerie Libby is a practicing Intuitive who has been developing and honing her intuitive abilities for 25 years. A former attorney, Valerie left the practice of law in 2000 to pursue her life's work, working in and with the mystery of life and intuitive guidance. She is clairvoyant, clairaudient, clairsentient, and she is a medium for clients' guides that may manifest to help with particular issues the client is facing. Valerie's office is in Portland, Maine, and she assists clients in person or by telephone; works with individuals, couples and businesses; and sees clients by appointment only. Valerie also offers energy healing facilitation sessions and is trained in two energy medicine modalities. Wendy Pollock's medical training includes licensure as a Chiropractic Physician since 1983 where she specializes in treating chronic structural and nutritional imbalances with Applied Kinesiology. She's also a practicing Constitutional Homeopath in Portland, Maine. Wendy began her homeopathic training in 1990 and has studied extensively with Paul Herscu, Massimo Mangialavori, and Lou Klein, amongst other teachers.

Nancy Frederick, R.S. Hom., Director of Baylight Homeopathy, is a registered member of the North American Society of Homeopaths, founding member of the Maine Association of Homeopaths and has been certified board of the Council for Homeopathic Certification. She is a diplomate in Advanced Clinical Homeopathy, and in addition to ten years of study with Louis Klein, Nancy and has studied formally with Master Homeopaths Vega Rozenberg, Jan Scholten, and Massimo Mangialavori. Nancy has taught homeopathy throughout New England and is a frequent and enthusiastic lecturer on the subject.
